Super cyclone Mocha made landfall along the Myanmar-Bangladesh coasts on Sunday after intensifying into the equivalent of a category-five storm, a senior Met official said.
Hundreds of Rohingyas are still fleeing to Bangladesh seeking refuge. However, they are pushed back into Myanmar by the border forces of Bangladesh. Groups of Rohingyas also fled to Kolkata and Hyderabad of India.
Despite low casualty figure, the storm left behind a trail of destruction as thousands of people lost their houses.
